Poker Academy Pro - Backing Up Your Game Logs

Getting a new computer means you need to transfer all your old settings from one computer to the other.
If you want to bring over your Poker Academy game logs follow the steps below to keep your statistics going.

  1. Make sure you have your product key. You will need this to activate the software on the new computer.
    • Windows Users:   On your keyboard type: ‘Windows Key + R’ at the same time.  This will bring up the run dialog. type the following into the box: %APPDATA%\PokerAcademy .  This should autofill for you depending on the version you have installed. PokerAcademy2 or PokerAcademyPro2
    • Mac Users:  In Finder go to:
      /Users/**YOUR USERNAME**/library/Preferences/PokerAcademyPro2
  2. Copy all those files to a USB flash drive or to your back up medium. Put them in a folder called PokerAcademy.
  3. On the new computer install Poker Academy (make sure it is not running) and follow step 2.
  4. Take the contents of your backed up data and move them into the corresponding folder on the new machine.
  5. Restart Poker Academy. You may be asked to activate again. Once you restart all your hands stats and game logs will ne intact.

You can transfer data between Macs and PCs by interchanging steps 4 - 6.

Backing up your data is as quick as following steps 1 - 3 every couple of weeks.

    Linux users: copy over the whole directory. Then reactivate the program with the new key when requested.
