Prospector Help - Poker Database

Poker Database

The database tab shows all of the hand histories you have imported from the online sites you play at.

Sites

Clicking on a site in the list will load the sessions associated with that site. Select multiple sites by holding down control while clicking individual rows or shift while clicking a start and end row.

Sessions

In the sessions section, you can select which types of games to display by their game type and betting type as well as fitering based on the time period.
Ring games and tournaments are displayed separately due to their different pay-out and buy-in structures.

Double-clicking a session will open the Hand History browser.

If you have a tournament selected, you can choose Edit tournament. Some of the poker sites save the tournaments with incomplete information. This editor allows you to fill in anything that was not written into the file originally.

Players

This section allows searching of the database for a particular player's statistics. The table options can bring up data for heroes and select only players with a minimum number of hands played.

Double-clicking a player will bring up the hand stats for that particular player and session.

Switching Databases

If you would like to keep sets of data completely separate, you can create more than one database and switch between them. For example, you might like to analyze someone elses hands without adding them to your own. To do this, go to Edit Preferences in the overview tab.
