The display settings can change the appearance of prospector. It is possible to change the colours of the winning colour, neutral colour and losing colour.
The 4 colour deck option will enable a 4 colour deck in the Hand History Replayer.
Animate panel closing will turn of the animation of the panels when they are minimized or opened.

The database preferences sets everything to do with the database.
It is possible to load a different database by selecting the appropriate database from the drop down menu.
Creating a new database will restart Prospector and new hands can then be imported.
Adding a new database from a previous backup or file is done through the Add Database menu.

Start up preferences can enable/disable tips of the day.
There is also a checkbox to automatically check for updates.
The view tips of the day button will launch the tips of the day window.
Database Cache Size: This menu will change how much RAM Prospector will use during operation. The recommended settings is 256MB. Setting this value any higher without the neccessary amount of RAM can cause Prospector to start up. If this occurs, there is a SAFE MODE in the Program Files that will start Prospector in the 256MB mode. When the safe mode starts, it is possible to reset to a lower value.
