Hand Type

The Hand Type tab groups hands into a hand type, as outlined below, to display how well the selected player performs with different hands. This tab enables questions such as "Do I make money when I flop top pair", or "Do I overvalue my medium pairs" to be answered. Keep in mind, the more hands available for analysis, the more relevant the data will be. One big win with top pair, for example, can throw off the analysis if there are few hands being analyzed.

Use the drop-down menu and check box to change the stage being viewed, and the representation of hands respectively as shown below. "Use Detailed Hand Types" check box, list hands in much more detail such as "Full House: Three of a kind on board" to facilitate in depth analysis of very specific hands.

Hand Type By Stage

Pre-flop hands (hole cards) are grouped based on Pairings, Suits, Rank, and Connectors.
Post-flop meaning, flop, turn, river and showdown, hands are grouped by the best 5 card poker hand they constitute.
